The DMWV supports the charity team “Rynkeby Berlin” in raising funds for the German Childhood Cancer Foundation (www. kinderkrebsstiftung. de).

“Rynkeby” (Team Rynkeby Berlin) is an association of recreational racing cyclists who are committed to these children and collect donations on a voluntary basis for the foundation. The German Childhood Cancer Foundation is committed to ensuring that children with cancer have a future and get well again. Due to the personal concern of an employee of Eckes-Granini fruit juice manufacturer (Hohes C, with the beverage brand Rynkeby, the team and the Rynkeby Foundation were founded in Denmark in 2002 and the first successful charity bike ride to Paris was carried out.

Since then, more and more riders from Europe have joined this idea of active, voluntary fundraising. Today the Rynkeby Berlin team is also driving from Berlin to Paris for these children. All costs (including racing bikes and accommodation) are borne by the team itself.

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, Rynkeby, after a week-long bike tour of over 1,100 km, will meet at least 3,500 like-minded people from all over Europe for a joint donation handover under the Eiffel Tower.
